Fall is here and by fall, we mean “pumpkin-palooza.” (It should be its own season, am I right?!) It seems as though as soon as October 1st rolls around nothing else seems to matter… We stop watching the news (and laughing at Donald Trump for actually thinking he could lead a nation), ignore the fact that today McDonald’s started serving breakfast all day permanently for the first time ever, and waste no time busting out the pumpkin-everything everywhere; even enduring massive traffic jams to get to the nearest grocery store. While everyone is getting white girl wasted on the #PSL (that’s “Pumpkin Spice Latte” incase you missed that), the benefits of pumpkin for your skin are actually quite amazing. Pumpkin is ultra rich in vitamins. Pumpkin contains vitamin E and T, which help to fight acne, pore size and inflammation, and control excess oil, Vitamin A which makes your skin soft and improves elasticity, and vitamin C, an antioxidant that can help to remedy damage produced by free radicals. Armed with these facts, and being the curious pumpkin feigning souls we are, we had to see this pumpkin-mania for ourselves, so we headed to Trader Joes on Fairfax & 3rd in Los Angeles with a mission and only one question in mind…
