Frequently asked questions

  • 1. How does it work?

If you have a skin condition, you can have a virtual consultation with a Dermatologist by taking photos of your skin and submitting them to a Dermatologist through the DermCheck App. A Dermatologist will review the photos along with your medical history and will give you a customized treatment plan, similar to an in-office Dermatology visit. If prescriptions are needed, they are sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choice.

    • Take a picture of your skin condition
    • Answer several medical history questions
    • Submit! Easy

  • 2. What are the benefits of using the app instead of going to a dermatology office?

    • More Affordable: Typical Dermatology visits cost about $250 to $300 per visit. DermCheck App costs $39.95, less than a typical office visit co-pay.
    • Easier: No need to drive to a medical office and wait in a waiting room for an hour just for a 15 minute visit.
    • More Efficient: No need to wait weeks to get an appointment. If you have a skin issue, connect with a Dermatologist today and get answers within 24 hours without leaving your home.
    • No Appointment Necessary: The average time to get a Dermatology appointment is 2 to 3 weeks. With DermCheck App, there are no appointments necessary. You submit photos of your skin condition on your own time and receive customized treatment plans with prescriptions sent to your pharmacy within 24 hours.
    • Save Time: We understand that everybody is busy. Taking time off from work to drive and sit in an office to be seen for 15 minute is a waste of time, especially when it can be done more efficiently via telemedicine.
